Dry Ice UK undertake to ensure that an established health and safety policy is current at all times as required by the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act. 1974. The policy will cover the company’s organisation and arrangements for the safe management of all work.
The company’s policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all employees and contractors, and to provide such information, instruction, training and supervision for this purpose. We also accept our responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by our activities.
The company Directors undertake to review and amend the policy as required and ensure that it fully addresses all changes in legislation which may affect the company’s work. Not withstanding reviews on all other grounds, the policy will be fully reviewed on a yearly basis. The Director’s will ensure adequate resources and finances for the implementation of this policy.
All work activities are fully covered by risk assessments (as required by the ‘Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations’), other specific applicable regulations and also additional safety management procedures for addressing site specific situations with hazard identification, risk assessment and procedures for the production of method statements for appropriate safe systems of work. |
